WHAT IS PYRON 7?
This product is amongst the oldest in our range. It saves money for thousands of burner
operators around Southern Africa. The advent of low sulphur and low viscosity diesel
fuels produced from synthetic processes is known to shorten the operating life of
pressure jet burners with resultant downtime costs. Pyron 7 is designed to prevent high
pressure pump failure, as well as prolong the effective life of the installation by protecting
the system against corrosion, and providing detergent properties which prevent carbon
and dirt build up. It is important to note that Pyron 7 achieves this without causing
undesirable side effects such as smoke, toxic gas emissions or carbon deposits
(caused by old engine oils and 2-
(1000 : 1 vs. 50 : 1) meaning greater economy and convenience.
HOW DOES PYRON 7 WORK?
Unlike normal lubricating oils, (e.g. 2-
and instead deposits a microscopic film on the moving metal surfaces. This coating has a residual effect,
which means that Pyron 7 still protects the pumps for a period of time even if it is accidentally forgotten.
RELIABILITY and PERFORMANCE GUARANTEES
Pyron 7 is the ONLY additive concentrate to have been tested to the CEC-
test apparatus. This is the only test capable of reliably determining the lubricity levels of fuels, and in particular,
the differences between additive technologies. Pyron 7 mixed at 1000 : 1 scores a resounding 0.289mm to
0.313mm! Better than high sulphur, high viscosity, diesel!
No other product can give you this performance guarantee.
Pyron 7 is also the only concentrate guaranteed to mix easily and more importantly, remain in suspension in
the bulk tanks without further agitation.
